This trio stars in one of the great fairy tales. An older couple wants a son, so bakes a Gingerbread Man. He runs away, taunting his parents, “Run, run as fast as you can! You can’t catch me. I’m the Gingerbread Man!” He accepts a ride across a river from a fox who quickly devours him. No moral; he simply became a meal.
