Smokey Bear was a serious fellow, who thought of himself as a real ranger. He was buddies with Rocky, also serious. One day, Smokey met a silly bear who’d been left behind and who played with a boat. Smokey rebuffed Toy’s offer of friendship. Then: Forest Fire! Smokey panicked, unable to find water. Toy quickly showed Smokey a small tributary where he played “Boat.” Smokey was able to put out the fire and from then on, he respected Toy’s and his life choices.
