Shy Scarecrow, who often played Scarecrow in the Oz plays, knew he had a brain and knew he wanted to retire. Deciding to seek friends, Shy met a pig, who escaped the slaughterhouse disguised as a farmhand. Stupid people; smart hog. Soon Shy & Wil came upon a large rat, also dressed as a farmhand who had escaped an untimely death. The three pals moved to a lush flower farm, where they enjoyed gardening and each other for the rest of their lives.
