An over-protected penguin, Jay grew up inland on a small glacier in Antarctica. But, once his mom had a new chick, he was on his own. He waddled toward the sea, jumped in and swam a great distance. Hopping on an iceberg, he knew he was lost. Two huge beasts swam near him, one saying, “Hop on my back. I’ll take you home.” Jay couldn’t identify these blubbery creatures but he trusted them and was brought home. From then on, Jay and his whales were inseparable.
