King Arthur + Queen Janet Antoinette
Legend has it that all of his life, Arthur pined for the beautiful Guinevere, who loved another. It was Janet, though, the daughter of Rabbis going back to the first century CE., who was his true love. Arthur’s Christian beliefs forbade a union with a commoner and a Jew. So Arthur created a mini-palace within his own where Janet lived out her days. Arthur brought her gowns, jewels, books, puppies and himself. Janet was the happiest closet queen in the kingdom!
