These distant cousins were the most competitive wizards in all of California. They never hung out but spoke through their accomplishments. Both men were conservationists, doing the Lord’s work, saving hills and trees, mountains and streams. They worked for “the people” but kept them at a distance. One day they had a beer together and realized they were two sides of the same coin. They became successful partners for the rest of their days.
