Pinocchio, star of books, stage and screen, was unique in Angie the Good Fairy’s experience: Pino was a male, he was wooden, he had a lousy moral code and he had A.D.D. What to do? Angie had given him multiple chances to be decent and the results were depressing. Finally, in exasperation, she chose Pino’s fate to be that of his original tale. He would be executed by the cat and bird he had tormented. Do not tell the kids!
