Harold Sailor
This sweet vintage cookie jar from the 1940s was probably inspired by World War II. It’s amazing any beauty can come from such ugliness as war, but this did. The sailor was named after my wonderful Uncle Harold, who was handsome and debonaire, smoked a fine cigar and always had a good word for everyone. He served in the war and came safe and sound. Our US sailor, dressed in red, white and blue, can be hung any and everywhere in homes all across this great country!
