This vintage cookie jar should be paired with his wife of many years, the “Lovely Old Lady.” My parents were married for sixty-eight years, probably due to my mother’s theme song – “Never go to bed angry; stay up and fight!” They were a perfect pair, just like this couple. They wanted the Gingerbread Man for a son but it didn’t work out. See “Gingerbread Man” in Nursery Rhymes!
