Nellie Nun
I’ve never met a nun but I love their outfits. This beautiful cookie jar, produced by Metlox, my favorite manufacturer, is very rare. I waited three years for a dealer to sell her to me! Nellie is named for my husband’s brave and adventuresome grandmother, who, while visiting California from England, met a handsome coronet player. She fell in love, stayed and married him. They lived happily ever! Obviously, Nellie wasn’t a nun but her name starts with an “N!”
