Salty Pelican
The U.S. Diving Team was fifty years old when, in 1960, Metlox Pottery created Salty the Pelican to honor the Olympic team. Having seen thousands of cookie jars, I can confirm that there are a handful of other pelican jars, but this baby is best bird of all. Salty’s canvas print, especially in a large size, will look magnificent in the homes of sailor and sea lovers everywhere!
